My name is Victoria, and my goal is to inspire and encourage you to create with your whole heart, and to push myself in the same way.
This sign started it all. It sits on the corner of my desk, always in view but out of the way. It started out meaning “messiness is encouraged in this area of the house,” but its meaning grew to include my work. I had found myself getting bogged down by the pursuit of perfection—too scared of fine details and jagged edges to start some projects and to finish others, lost in a nasty spiral of guilt and fear. But no more! Here and now, we reject perfection! If perfect happens, that's great, but it's not the goal. We create in the pursuit of letting our hearts shine. Pour your soul into your creative exploits without fear and without hesitation. Create without fear. Dare to try, dare to learn, dare to get things wrong, and dare to try again. I've been a fan of art projects all my life. I loved art classes in school, and as a teen I volunteered many-a-summer as a teacher's assistant at a local art-centric summer camp.
